Taemin of K-pop group SHINee has postponed the entire United States leg of his international solo tour, Liminal, after visa complications affected key members of the touring staff.

Galaxy Corp., the singer’s agency, announced the change Tuesday. The US itinerary had been scheduled to open in San Jose, California, on Oct. 12 before moving through five additional cities: Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Chicago and Newark, New Jersey. All six appearances will now be rescheduled.

The stated issue concerns appropriate US visas for essential tour personnel, who had not secured the necessary documents in time for the planned dates. The announcement did not identify the affected staff members or provide replacement dates for the postponed concerts. It also did not indicate that Taemin’s other international engagements would be delayed.

The Latin American and European portions of Liminal remain on the calendar. Taemin is due to begin the Latin American leg in late October, with planned stops in Monterey and Mexico City in Mexico, followed by Santiago in Chile, Lima in Peru and Sao Paulo in Brazil. His schedule then calls for performances across eight European countries and Kazakhstan.

The postponement separates the US dates from the rest of the tour rather than suspending the full international itinerary. For fans in the six affected American cities, the next step will be confirmation of revised dates once the visa issues involving the touring team are resolved.

Taemin has built a parallel solo career alongside his work as a member of SHINee, and the Liminal tour is structured as a multi-region international run. The US segment was set to cover the West Coast, the Southwest, the Midwest and the New York metropolitan area in a compact sequence beginning in mid-October. Moving all six shows underscores the logistical dependence of a major concert tour on specialized personnel traveling together across borders.

For now, Galaxy Corp.’s announcement leaves the wider tour intact while placing only the American leg on hold. No changes were announced for the five listed Latin American stops, the eight-country European schedule or Kazakhstan. Further information will be needed on new dates and arrangements for the affected US venues.
