BTS’ Jimin Draws 10 Million Views With First Personal TikTok Video

Jimin’s first video on his personal TikTok account surpassed 10 million views in less than a day, extending the BTS member’s digital reach as the group prepares for the South American leg of its world tour.

BTS member Jimin attracted more than 10 million views in less than a day after posting his first video on a personal TikTok account, marking a rapid debut on the short-form video platform.

The video features the full choreography for “Be Mine,” a track from Jimin’s second solo EP, “Muse.” Filmed by the seashore, the clip shows the singer and dancer moving through the song’s choreography in an outdoor setting rather than relying on a heavily produced stage performance.

By Wednesday, the post had exceeded 15 million views and accumulated 6 million likes. The response came despite the account having no previous posts, underscoring the scale of the audience Jimin brought to the platform before publishing any original material there.

The personal profile appeared to have been created about a month before the first upload. During that period, it drew roughly 5 million followers without any posted videos. Jimin is the fourth BTS member to establish a solo presence on TikTok, following V, J-Hope and Jungkook.

The choice of “Be Mine” also returns attention to Jimin’s solo catalog. The song was released as part of “Muse,” his second solo EP, and the new video presents it through the performance style closely associated with the artist. The strong initial engagement demonstrates how individual BTS members can activate large audiences independently while remaining tied to the group’s broader global profile.

Jimin’s TikTok debut arrives as BTS prepares to resume its “Arirang” world tour in South America. The group is scheduled to begin the regional leg on Friday and stage 14 concerts across five stops through the end of October. The timing places Jimin’s personal social media activity alongside a new phase of group promotions and live performances.

For the K-pop industry, the figures illustrate the continuing importance of short-form platforms as direct distribution channels. A personal account allows an artist to release choreography and other performance material immediately to followers, without waiting for a television appearance or a conventional promotional campaign. In Jimin’s case, the account converted an existing follower base into millions of views within hours.

The first post leaves open whether Jimin will use the profile regularly or primarily around music and tour activities. Its early performance, however, establishes the account as another major digital outlet for one of K-pop’s most widely followed performers.
