Jungkook Sets K-Pop Solo Record With Six Songs Passing 3 Million TikTok Uses
BTS member Jungkook has become the first K-pop solo artist to have six songs used in more than 3 million TikTok posts each, led by his Charlie Puth collaboration “Left and Right.”
BTS member Jungkook has become the first K-pop solo artist to have six songs each appear in more than 3 million TikTok posts, adding another social-media milestone to his solo career.
His collaboration with American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth, “Left and Right,” led the group with more than 23.2 million uses on the short-form video platform. “Dreamers,” the song Jungkook released for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, followed with 16.9 million uses.
“Seven,” one of the singer’s biggest solo releases, has been used in more than 8.5 million TikTok posts. A sped-up version of “Left and Right” has appeared in over 3.9 million posts, while “3D” has exceeded 3.2 million uses. “Still With You” rounded out the six songs at about 3 million.
The figures illustrate how Jungkook’s music continues to circulate well beyond conventional streaming and sales charts. On TikTok, tracks can gain renewed momentum as users incorporate them into dance clips, edits, challenges and other short-form videos. Alternate versions can also develop audiences of their own, as shown by the separate performance of the sped-up edition of “Left and Right.”
The milestone measures the number of TikTok posts using each track rather than the number of streams or individual listeners. Even so, reaching the threshold across six separate songs points to repeated adoption by creators instead of a result driven by only one viral release. The range between roughly 3 million and 23.2 million uses also shows that the catalog’s presence is distributed across several songs.
Several other Jungkook songs are approaching the same benchmark. The sped-up version of “3D” has passed 2.1 million uses, while “My You” has reached 1.5 million. “Standing Next to You” has generated 1.4 million uses, and “Yes or No” has appeared in roughly 1 million posts.
Jungkook’s personal presence on the platform is also substantial. His TikTok account has more than 34.5 million followers and over 458 million likes, giving him a large direct audience alongside the fan activity surrounding his music.
The latest record spans collaborations, official solo singles and a fan-favorite self-written track, underscoring the breadth of his catalog’s appeal. It also reflects the increasingly important role short-form video plays in the global reach and longevity of K-pop releases, where both new songs and older tracks can continue generating millions of user-created posts.
