Hybe Cine Fest Goes Global With Live BTS Concert Screenings
Hybe will bring its annual cinema festival to more than 1,100 theaters in 50 countries, combining live BTS tour broadcasts with concert films from Seventeen, Tomorrow X Together and Enhypen.
Hybe is expanding its annual cinema festival worldwide for the first time, taking concert films and live broadcasts tied to its artists to more than 1,100 theaters in 50 countries.
The South Korean entertainment company said Wednesday that Hybe Cine Fest 2026 will run from Oct. 24 through Oct. 31. In South Korea, Lotte Cinema will exclusively screen the festival's films and live broadcasts.
The program is built around two live cinema broadcasts from BTS' ongoing Arirang world tour. The group's concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Oct. 24 and its show in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Oct. 30 are scheduled to be shown in participating theaters as the performances take place. The format gives fans outside the host cities a chance to experience the tour collectively on cinema screens.
Three other Hybe acts will make theatrical debuts with concert films. The lineup includes a Seventeen concert recorded in Incheon, a Tomorrow X Together performance in Seoul and an Enhypen show in Seoul. Together with the BTS broadcasts, the films broaden the festival beyond a single artist and present a cross-section of Hybe's concert catalog.
The company will also offer a sing-along screening called Hybe Cheering Party. It will combine music videos and performance footage from 13 acts affiliated with Hybe Music Group. The announced artists include BTS, Seventeen, Tomorrow X Together, Enhypen, Le Sserafim, &Team, BoyNextDoor, TWS, Illit and Katseye. Romanized Korean lyrics and fan chants will be displayed onscreen so international audiences can participate.
Some participating cinemas will extend the event beyond screenings. More than 10 theaters worldwide are expected to provide attractions such as photo areas, message walls and stations where visitors can customize light sticks. Selected locations will also sell festival-related merchandise.
The global rollout follows two years of regional growth. Hybe introduced the cinema series in Latin America in 2024, attracting about 260,000 moviegoers. It expanded to Asia in 2025, where attendance reached about 320,000. This year's 50-country plan turns the project into a substantially larger international distribution event.
International ticket sales are set to begin Sept. 30, while sales in South Korea are scheduled to open Oct. 15. The combination of real-time concerts, catalog performances and participatory screenings reflects entertainment companies' growing use of cinemas to extend the reach of live music beyond physical concert venues.
