Incheon’s popular Wolmi Park will temporarily suspend its traditional costume experience for three days next month to facilitate essential repair work on a significant historical building within its grounds.
The cultural activity, which allows visitors to wear traditional Korean attire known as Hanbok, will be unavailable from Wednesday, April 8, 2026, to Friday, April 10, 2026. The temporary closure is necessary for urgent tile repair work at Yangjindang, a traditional Korean house located within the park’s traditional garden.
Wolmi Park is a prominent tourist destination in Incheon, offering scenic views and various cultural attractions. Yangjindang serves as a key heritage site where visitors can immerse themselves in Korean culture through the Hanbok experience. The repair work aims to preserve the architectural integrity and safety of this important traditional structure.
Outside of these specific dates, the traditional costume experience operates annually from March 1 to November 30, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Visitors can enjoy a complimentary two-hour rental of traditional costumes.
To borrow a costume, visitors are required to present a valid identification document. Costumes can be worn within the traditional garden from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and specifically inside Yangjindang from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. For any further inquiries regarding the suspension or regular operation, visitors may contact the Wolmi Park Management Office at 032-765-4133.
